2. Register/Sign in
(1) If this is your first time to use the Heyyo soft phone, you have to register a "Heyyo account", set your username and password at this time.
(2) Having started the client, you should click the "File" menu in the client and select the "Register" item to open the register dialog box.
(3) Click the "You have not signed in yet" in the client or the Change User in the "File" menu, sign in with the Heyyo account you have registered.
(4) Selection of sign in mode. Heyyo provides two kinds of sign in modes, common mode and Internet cafe mode. The common mode applies to PC used by one person at office or home. The Internet cafe mode applies to PC used by more than one person in public places such as Internet cafe. Be sure to choose the mode according to the environment.
3. Conference Call
Click the "Create a Conference Call" in the "Tool" menu, or when a talk is in progress, click the "Invite" button in the dial panel, enter into the "Conference Call" interface, select 1 to 5 numbers from the contact address book, or enter other phone numbers. When the number has been added, wait for connection and then the Conference Call can be made.
4. Buy heyyo Credit
Sign in "My HEYYO" with your Heyyo account, click the "Buy heyyo Credit" in the left side of the page, or click the "Tool->Buy heyyo Credit" in the client menu to enter into the value adding page. You can buy credit for your own or for other people.
5. System Setting
Click the "Tool" menu, select the "Options" to open the "Options" dialog box.
(1) Audio Setting. Please select the audio input and output devices properly. They are usually automatically recognized by the system and user is not recommended to modify them. Click the "Audio device testing" to test if the device works properly. If not, check if the right input/output devices have been selected, the earphones have been plugged well, and the sound card can be used properly.
(2) Proxy Server Setting. When a proxy server is needed, select the "Use proxy" option to make setting. Selecting the "Use proxy" option helps to raise the call connection but increases voice delay.
(3) Location Setting. When your location code and area code have been set, you can make local call by entering phone number directly, without entering country code and area code.
6. Dial
(1) After sign in, you can enter the phone number you want to dial and press the Enter key in the dialer panel according to the dial rule, or click the dial key to make dial.
(2) You can also double click a number in the contact address book to make dial.
7. Change Password
Sign in www.Heyyo.com, select "Account" and sign in with your account, or select "change password" in the "File" menu in the client, enter into the password modification page, enter the Heyyo account, old password, new password, enter the new password again and confirm, click "OK", the password is successfully modified.
8. Call Record Inquiry
User can inquire and manage call records in the Heyyo client and www.Heyyo.com, in case any discrepancy arises, the content of www.Heyyo.com shall prevail.
(1) Client Enquiry. Click the "View call record" in the "Tool" menu to open the call record dialog box. Sign "¡Ì" indicates the call is successful, and displays call duration, start and end time. Sign "¡Á" indicates the call is not successful. Click the "Dial" button to call the selected phone number. Select certain call record and click "Save as Contact" to add a phone number to the contact address book. Select certain call record and click "Delete" button to delete a call record. Click "Clear all" button to delete all call records.
(2) Sign in www.Heyyo.com, enter into the "Account" page, click "Calls History", enter the start and end time of the enquiry to enquire call records in that time frame.
9. Balance and Account Information Query
Sign in www.Heyyo.com, enter into the "My Heyyo" page, click the "Account information" to enquire the account balance, validity period, services provided and not provided, etc.
